Senior Project Manager (IT) at BairesDev

As a Senior Project Manager (IT), you’ll lead multiple large-scale technology projects, often focused on staff augmentation and software delivery. Working with cross-functional, highly skilled technical teams, you’ll drive strategic initiatives, maintain operational excellence, and ensure top-tier project execution and team performance.

What You'll Do:

- Sustain organizational effectiveness and efficiency by implementing, executing, and supporting strategic plans for technology implementation.

- Take responsibility for project planning and monitoring outcomes, providing coaching, guidance, and team discipline while coordinating and enforcing company systems, policies, and procedures.

- Ensure staff retention by fostering a dependable and communicative work environment; building personal connections with team members and seeking growth opportunities.

- Strategically evaluate and enhance billable utilization, managing capacity planning and forecasting project profitability.

- Take an active role in identifying expansion opportunities within existing client relationships;

- Generate and deliver value to all internal and external stakeholders.

- Propose information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by assessing organizational outcomes, identifying challenges, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements.

- Achieve financial objectives by predicting financial results, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and implementing corrective actions.

- Preserve quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.

- Support team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

What we are looking for:

- 7+ years of experience in engineering management roles.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Very good attitude.

- Client-oriented mindset.

- Advanced experience with financials and budget management.

- Demonstrated ability to multitask at an expert level.

- Strong problem-solving orientation.

- Extensive experience as a People Manager, including Performance Improvement planning,

- Attrition Management, Terminations, etc.

- Deep technical expertise and comprehensive IT industry background.

- Advanced experience with Agile methodologies.

- Advanced level of English.

Desirable:

- Past experience as a Software Engineer.

- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.

- Past experience working in direct competitors.
