Senior Project Manager (w|m|d)

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be a key contributor to critical technology projects at Leschaco, working closely with global and cross-functional teams. This position acts as the connecting link between corporate functions and business stakeholders involved in global technology and transformation projects.

• Turning complex or initially unclear business and technology initiatives into well-defined projects with clear objectives, scope, deliverables, responsibilities and decision points
• Structuring projects into manageable workstreams, defining ownership, dependencies, milestones and expected deliverables together with the involved stakeholders
• Driving project delivery through proactive follow-up, ensuring agreed actions and deliverables are completed on time and escalating delays or unresolved issues where necessary
• Coordinating global, cross-functional project teams and keeping interdependent workstreams aligned towards common objectives and timelines
• Establishing and maintaining effective project governance, including project plans, status reporting, Steering Committees, decision tracking and management communication
• Identifying and actively managing project risks, dependencies, blockers and conflicting priorities, including proposing mitigation measures and driving required management decisions
• Working closely with business and IT experts to structure requirements, understand process and system dependencies, and translate them into actionable project activities

• Several years of professional experience in project management activities, ideally in an international technology or transformation environment. Consulting experience is a plus
• Degree in Business Administration, IT, Engineering or a comparable field, or equivalent professional experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Proactive follow-up mentality to overcome barriers and keep the team moving forward
• Strong technology affinity and the ability to understand technical concepts, system dependencies and architectural implications sufficiently to facilitate discussions and decisions between business and IT specialists
• Ability to work with a high degree of responsibility, a results-oriented mindset, and a strong sense of team spirit.
