WATG is hiring a Senior Project Urban Designer for our Singapore office. ROLE The Senior Project Urban Designer will possess strong design and ideation skills, capable of leading creative concept development, including placemaking across multiple scales of projects. The role specializes in streetscape versus building relationship urban design, public realm articulation, massing, and 3D spatial composition. The ideal candidate will create context-responsive design guidelines and visions for diverse geographies and cultures. RESPONSIBILITIES Generates innovative design concepts and spatial frameworks for urban and resort destinations Produces design sketches and illustrations, cross-sections, 3D massing models, and photorealistic visualizations Develops design guidelines, vision books, and narratives that communicate the aesthetic and experiential intent Leads design presentations and champions the creative vision with clients and collaborators Mentors team members in design thinking and graphic production QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in planning, urban design, landscape architecture, or architecture Relevant urban planning certification preferred Environmental accreditation preferred Minimum of 15 years of experience in urban design, urban planning, or architecture practices Proficient in Rhino, Enscape/D5, Adobe Creative Suite, and AI visualization tools preferred Knowledge of Grasshopper, Ladybug and other sustainability analysis software and mapping tools Knowledge of ArcGIS and GIS analysis Working knowledge of Revit Knowledge of Midjourney and other latest AI tools approved by WATG for project work Conceptual design, hand sketching, 3D modeling, visual storytelling, design guideline writing. Working knowledge of sustainable design and planning Proven project leadership and team management responsibilities, with the ability to effectively manage a team Ability to effectively meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities Highly effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills *Please include a copy of your resume and portfolio to be considered for this position.
