Make an impact Join us as a Proposal Manager in EMEA to lead a pivotal part of the sales phase to ensure closing of our opportunities and have a significant impact in our business. This position is based in the office / hybrid working in Kaunas with travel to customer sites in the EMEA region when required. A key part of the role besides managing the proposal process is to manage the cost estimation process You'll thrive in an interdisciplinary environment actively collaborating with several internal functions Assure that the proposal, consulting and system engineering teams are fully aligned and working effectively with all other teams in the region, creating a cooperative environment to ensure we produce winning solutions with clear evidence supporting costs Work very closely with our sales team, reviewing their needs and directing various teams to create winning proposals You will setup and drive transparent reporting of the group’s activities to ensure we are delivering on time and in full What you need to succeed The ideal candidate will have project management experience, enjoys collaborating in team settings and work towards delivery deadlines. Keeping project documents well organized along the way You communicate openly, effectively and consistently with stakeholders and focus on customer needs You have a technical background that enables you to ask probing questions when presented with design information Intralogistics experience would be an advantage although experience of the sales proposal process in complex engineering environments would also be a background of relevance to this position Ideally University level education in management or engineering is desirable but not essential Ability to travel as needed in order to be efficient in the role Our promise to you Swisslog is a world of opportunity for people who can deliver a game changing mission: driving the future of intralogistics, by shaping an era of robotic and data-driven automated solutions that create exceptional customer value.
