The project team consists of a proactive group of people who believe in the idea of cross-functional teams and Agile software development.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of application quality and proactively drive product, process, testability, and tooling improvements that reduce defects.
  • Analyze requirements and product changes, identify risks and gaps, define appropriate testing strategies, and maintain the necessary test documentation.
  • Plan and execute manual functional, integration, system, API, exploratory, regression, and smoke testing across standalone and integrated components.
  • Collaborate with product owners and developers to clarify requirements, investigate issues, and manage defects through their complete lifecycle.
  • Assess release readiness and clearly communicate testing results, coverage gaps, quality risks, and recommendations.
  • Use AI assistants and agents to accelerate test design, test-data preparation, API testing, defect investigation, and reporting while retaining responsibility for validating all generated outputs.
  • Create and maintain purpose-built QA agents, reusable skills, workflows, and lightweight supporting tools.
  • Identify suitable opportunities for automation and collaborate with development and quality engineering teams to implement and maintain them.

  • Working SQL knowledge, including CRUD operations and a foundational understanding of relational database behavior.
  • Ability to read and understand source code sufficiently to investigate system behavior, identify testing implications, and collaborate effectively with developers.
  • Working knowledge of Git and source-control practices for maintaining Postman collections, scripts, agent instructions, skills, and other QA assets.
  • Understanding of agentic concepts, including instructions, prompts, context management, agents, subagents, tools, skills, workflows, orchestration, memory, guardrails, evaluations, and human-in-the-loop controls.
