For more information, visit www.ShiftKey.pl About the work The Senior QA Engineer is a technical expert responsible for leading the strategy, technical design and implementation of the test automation suites. The Senior QA Engineer is also directly responsible for helping raise the technical skills of QA engineers with less experience on their team. A day in the life Evaluate, select, and implement the best technologies for the problems at hand, even when it requires learning new technologies. Provide technical leadership on your team in system design, test architecture design, and code reviews/pull requests. Responsible for raising the technical skills of other QA engineers on own team and other teams where appropriate through coaching and mentoring. Design and implement test harnesses, Integration Test Suite, and UI Test Suite. Responsible for implementing a performance testing program with DevOps and Sr. Software Engineers across organization. Embody, teach, and advocate for true software craftsmanship at the team level. Operate in a fast-paced environment where just enough requirements enable collaboration and allows you to rapidly iterate to deliver running tested code. Participate in cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing via guilds, cross team design sessions, code reviews, etc. Focus on continuing education for self to master your craft and stay informed on leading technology and software engineering trends. Other duties as required. Who you are (Minimum qualifications) You are a QA Engineer with at least 4+ years of relevant experience. You have experience working on teams delivering software products in an agile environment that practices continuous integration and continuous delivery. You have experience writing UI and Integration level Test Automation. You have deep experience in a multitude of leading programming languages such as Java Script and Python. You have a desire to work in an environment embracing BDD and TDD. You have deep understanding of version control with systems like Git and comfort with pull request workflows. You have deep experience in relational data stores like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL. You understand tools commonly used for CI/CD like Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes. You have experience with non-functional test processes and technologies such as Dynatrace, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, JMeter, etc. You are fluent in English, both speaking and writing. Ideally you also (Preferred qualifications) Have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Understand and have experience in leading Cloud providers like GCP, AWS, Azure or large-scale private cloud. You will thrive working here because… Products are built to service and delight our users.
