Senior Quantity Surveyor

Role Description The Senior Quantity Surveyor role at LR WORLD is a part-time, hybrid position based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will oversee cost planning and management across project lifecycles, including preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and tender documents. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring and controlling project costs, evaluating variations and claims, preparing regular cost reports, and supporting contract administration. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure financial efficiency, value for money, and adherence to budgets. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will also contribute to risk assessment, financial forecasting, and the continuous improvement of cost control processes.
Qualifications

• Strong cost planning and cost management skills, including experience in budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Proficiency in cost control and cost reporting, with the ability to track, analyze, and communicate project financial performance.
• Hands-on experience in preparing and reviewing BOQ and related tender documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., RICS or equivalent) are advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience in construction or infrastructure projects in the Middle East is preferred.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities, including working with multidisciplinary teams in a hybrid environment.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying and cost management software and MS Office applications.
