- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Travelling to project sites across Ireland and Europe as and when required.
About You
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or a related construction discipline.
- Minimum 8+ years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the construction industry.
- Proven experience managing the commercial delivery of complex construction projects.
- Strong expertise in cost management, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
- Extensive experience in subcontractor procurement, contract administration, valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, commercial risk management and contractual claims.
- Demonstrated ability to protect project margins, identify commercial risks and maximise financial performance.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior management, clients and project teams.
- High attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant commercial software.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and support the development of junior team members.
- Must be based in Ireland or the UK.
- Must hold a full, clean, valid driving licence.
- Must hold a valid passport and be available to travel internationally as and when required.
