Job Description We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior React Native Engineer who wants to work in a fast-paced, agile startup to build and enhance our mobile applications. At AssetIntel, we believe that every developer is responsible for code ownership. As a Senior React Native Engineer, you will work as a senior individual contributor on our production iOS and Android applications. You will use React Native and Expo to deliver reliable, high-quality mobile experiences and collaborate closely with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders in India and the US. You will have the opportunity to: Tackle complex mobile-development challenges daily. Design, develop, test, and maintain excellent user experiences for iOS and Android using React Native and Expo. Take ownership of features from technical design through implementation, testing, release, and ongoing improvement. Collaborate with engineers to ensure our codebase is scalable, maintainable, performant, and easily readable. Work with product and design teams to translate requirements into high-quality mobile experiences. Balance technical debt management with business requirements. Break down complex problems into smaller, modular solutions. Contribute to technical decisions, code reviews, and engineering standards across our mobile applications. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 6+ years of professional software-engineering experience. Applications with less than 6 years of experience will not be considered. 4+ years of professional experience developing production applications with React Native. Strong professional experience with Expo and the React Native ecosystem. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript. Demonstrated experience building, shipping, and maintaining applications for both iOS and Android. Strong understanding of mobile application performance, debugging, testing, error handling, and release processes. Experience integrating REST APIs and building reliable, user-friendly mobile experiences. Strong expertise in data structures and algorithms. Strong React web-development experience is highly preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
