Senior React/Typescript engineer (Remote)

We are looking for a person of exceptional React Native Skills that is willing to join our efforts in changing the underlying paradigm of decentralized ledger technology.

Humanode is a novel type of DLT. Peers in the system are equal in terms of validation and voting power. Nodes are deployed through biometric processing with liveness detection to prove that there is only one human behind each node. This approach is called Proof-of-Personhood where instead of mining equipment or staked assets a human being's biological uniqueness becomes the stake itself.

What will you do:

- Create and Maintain our Mobile App from scratch

- Utilize React Native best practices in your code to create various apps for Humanode

- Developing new user-facing features using React Native

- Create biometric verification, search and matching, liveness detection flows

- Integrate servers and connect them to the client

- Integrate third-party APIs

- Release application to App Store and Google Play

- Offer constructive and respectful feedback via code reviews

- Work with our QA and Project Management teams to ensure quality in our builds and releases

- Research and promote design patterns and practices that fit our technical challenges

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features in a dynamic and remote work environment with people working in different time zones

Required competencies and skill set:

- Senior React Native

- Senior JavaScript/TypeScript

- TypeScript knowledge is mandatory

- Solid experience in architecture design and object-oriented design principles

- Knowledge of native iOS/Android, including bridging between React Native to native

- Profound skills in using Firebase and Firestore

- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices

- A knack for benchmarking and optimization

- Strong proficiency with Redux

- Be passionate about mobile development, constantly striving to learn new things and improve

- Excellent leadership, communication skills, and a team player with the ability to work in cross-functional teams and with a great attitude

- Know how to work with ZenHub, Figma, Notion, Discord

- Estimation skills

- Passion for mentoring and helping fellow engineers develop new skills and advance in their careers

- Experience with crypto projects would be an advantage
