Show job description

Banking hasn’t changed much in decades. We’re changing that. One product at a time.

Lunar is a Nordic challenger bank building the future of banking, with AI at the core. Our engineers, designers, and product people work on problems that actually matter. Making money simpler, smarter, and more rewarding for millions of people across the Nordics. Fully licensed and founded in 2015, with offices in Copenhagen, Aarhus, and Stockholm. We move fast, we build with purpose, and we’re just getting started.

As our new Senior Regulatory Reporting Specialist, you’ll join the Capital & Regulatory Reporting (CRR) team, reporting to the Head of CRR, and can be based in Copenhagen, Aarhus, or Stockholm. You’ll bring the domain knowledge on what our regulatory reporting needs to get right, and together with our data and tech teams, you’ll get it built accurately, and in a way we can defend. Most of your time goes into writing the specs that turn regulatory rules into system logic, and pressure-testing what’s already built, while the rest goes into supporting the team in getting submissions over the line during peak periods.

What will you do?

  • Write build specifications that translate CRR, CRD, and EBA requirements into data and calculation rules for our product, tech, and data teams

  • Review existing calculation logic and data sources against the regulatory text, and document gaps as validated methodology, SOPs, and improvement requirements

  • Verify what gets built by querying the data yourself

  • Assess the reporting impact of new products and upcoming regulatory changes early enough to plan for them

  • Support COREP, Danmarks Nationalbank MFI and AnaCredit/Kreditregistret, KRGS, and other DFSA submissions during peak periods

What are we looking for in you?

  • Solid experience in regulatory reporting at a bank, regtech vendor, or advisory firm, including COREP or similar EBA reporting

  • The habit of going to the source: you read CRR, CRD, and EBA guidelines directly and can defend a calculation

  • Basic SQL to query and verify data yourself. You don’t need to be a data engineer

  • Experience turning regulatory requirements into specifications, methodology, or test cases others build from

  • The ability to explain a regulatory argument to non-specialists and hold your own with engineers and senior stakeholders. Experience with the EBA taxonomy, DPM, OneSumX, Regnology, or Adenza is a plus

What you get (aka. Benefits and perks)

  • 4 days in the office. We’re a team that builds together, thinks together, and moves together. Showing up is part of how we work.

  • A well-equipped workspace. You’ll have a modern computer and a comfortable desk setup. We want you to have the tools you need to do your best work.

  • Pension, health insurance, and enhanced parental leave. From your financial future to your family moments. We’ve got you covered.
