The Senior Revenue Operations Specialist is the internal owner of RCX Sports’ Salesforce environment and a key partner across Sales/Growth, League Success, Marketing, Technology, Customer Service, Finance, and Analytics. This role leads the transition of revenue operations work from external vendors to internal ownership, manages Salesforce administration and governance, improves data integrity, and builds the processes and automations that support sustainable participation and revenue growth. Reporting to the Director of Analytics, this individual will combine hands-on Salesforce expertise with strong cross-functional partnerships. They will own the Salesforce request queue, release management, access and licensing, platform documentation, and CRM-side integrations, and will play a critical role in implementing a marketing automation platform, serving as the Salesforce and data lead alongside Marketing and Technology. Job Responsibilities: Serve as RCX Sports’ internal Salesforce administrator and system owner, managing configuration, objects, fields, page layouts, permission sets, validation rules, reports, dashboards, and release management. Manage the Salesforce request queue across business teams, establishing clear intake, prioritization, communication, and turnaround expectations. Build and test changes in sandbox environments and maintain a disciplined, documented deployment process. Lead the transition of revenue operations work from external vendors to internal ownership, including structured knowledge transfer and documentation of workflows, automations, email templates, custom objects, field definitions, and integration logic. Manage user provisioning and deprovisioning, access governance, permissions, licenses, storage, and platform capacity. Improve Salesforce data integrity through deduplication, record hygiene, field standardization, required-field governance, and reconciliation across connected systems. Own the mapping and maintenance of data flowing into Salesforce, partnering with Technology on integration design and troubleshooting. Serve as the CRM-side owner for the marketing automation platform, including object and field mapping, lead and contact synchronization, matching and deduplication rules, consent and suppression handling, and campaign-to-opportunity attribution. Build and maintain revenue workflows and automations, including renewal and end-of-season prompts, onboarding milestones, lead routing, lead scoring, and standardized web-to-lead capture. Identify manual processes across revenue teams and implement scalable solutions that return time to the business. Use Salesforce pipelines, dashboards, and reports to surface operational insights that help customer-facing teams prioritize their efforts and remove bottlenecks. Maintain living documentation of Salesforce workflows, objects, fields, integrations, and dependencies. Partner with Analytics to establish certified metric definitions so Salesforce data aligns with company dashboards and reporting. Evaluate downstream reporting and data-governance impacts before approving or deploying platform changes. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. 5+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, Salesforce administration, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience serving as the primary owner of a Salesforce environment. Hands-on experience with Salesforce Flow, validation rules, custom objects, permission sets, reports, and dashboards. Demonstrated experience improving data integrity through deduplication, record hygiene, field standardization, and reconciliation across systems. Experience managing Salesforce integrations with external systems and partnering with technical teams on APIs, middleware, and data mapping. Experience using sandbox environments and following structured testing, release, and change-management practices. Working knowledge of email and SMS consent requirements, including CAN-SPAM and TCPA, and sound judgment when handling personal data. Strong documentation, organization, and project-management skills. Ability to explain technical decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders and translate business needs into scalable system solutions. Ability to work independently, navigate incomplete documentation, lead a vendor transition, and establish effective intake and prioritization practices. A collaborative mindset and an understanding of shared platform ownership across Revenue Operations, Marketing, Technology, and Analytics. Preferred Qualifications: Experience enabling AI capabilities within CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce Einstein, Agentforce, or AI-assisted workflows). Experience connecting Help Scout or other ticketing platforms with Salesforce to build a holistic contact management infrastructure. Understanding of the youth sports ecosystem, including families, coaches, league operators, and program partners. Additional Position Details: Travel: Up to 5% Work Schedule: Full-Time 40 hours/week (Monday-Friday) with occasional nights and weekends Compensation Structure: Expected starting salary - $100,500-$107,000/year. Exempt paid Semi-Monthly.
