As a Senior Road Freight Operations Executive you will operate and also creating offers for road transport requests by providing the best possible options based on transit time, routing and carrier availability. Through your work you will have the chance to gain a deeper understanding of the freight forwarding industry and support customers and partners across international road transport networks.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Timely preparation of road freight rates and quotations for customers and international agents, also considering time zone differences
• Support the development of new customers while maintaining existing relationships, in collaboration with other departments
• Collaborate and build relationships with customers, trucking carriers and agents to strengthen service competitiveness
• Research and suggest cost-effective road transport solutions across European corridors

Knowledge and Skills

· Bachelor's degree, preferably in Shipping or International Transportation/ Logistics

· Fluent in English (Oral and Writing). Additional Languages will be considered a plus.

· Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar position in the forwarding industry

· Excellent knowledge in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and especially Outlook)

· Results oriented with strong negotiation skills

· Efficient prioritization and attention to detail

· Ability to work within tight deadlines
