Why N-able
At N-able, we’re not just helping businesses be secure —we’re redefining what it means to be cyber resilient. Our end-to-end platform blends AI-powered capabilities and flexible tech stacks, so customers can manage, secure, and recover with confidence. But the real power behind it all? Our people. We’re a global crew of N-ablites, who love solving complex problems, sharing knowledge, and delivering solutions that actually make a difference. If you're into meaningful work, fast growth, and a team that’s got your back, you’ll be surrounded by people who believe in what they do—and in you.
The Sales Enablement Specialist owns the enablement of N-able’s channel — the value-added resellers (VARs), distributors, and managed service providers who take N-able to market — and the internal teams that support them. Operating across a two-tier distribution model (distributor-facing, reseller-facing, and internal enablement tracks), this role builds and runs the programs, certifications, assets, and communications that help partners sell, deploy, and grow N-able solutions, while equipping internal channel account managers, distribution managers, and sales teams to work the channel effectively. It translates channel strategy and partner-program mechanics into partner-ready enablement, and owns VAR asset creation and internal and external partner communications.
Working closely with Global Channel Sales, Distribution, Marketing, Product, and the broader GTM Enablement team, this role is measured by partner activation and time-to-first-sale, certification completion, content adoption, and partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline across regions.
What You'll Do
- Own the end-to-end onboarding journey for new VARs, resellers, and distributors with structured, repeatable programs across distributor-facing and reseller-facing tracks.
- Design and maintain partner onboarding content and journeys that shorten partner time-to-first-sale.
- Educate partners on N-able’s business model and the roles of partners, distributors, resellers, and customers within the two-tier channel.
- Build, deliver, and maintain tiered partner certification programs — foundational awareness, sales certification, and technical/product certification aligned to partner roles and tiers.
- Develop and curate partner-facing enablement assets and publish them through the LMS and partner content channels.
- Deliver live and virtual partner training and certify partners against defined competency milestones.
- Translate the N-able Partner Program into partner-ready enablement
- Support partner portal / PRM content, structure, and findability so partners can self-serve the right assets, training, and program information.
- Own VAR asset creation and internal and external partner communications coordinated across regions and time zones.
- Enable internal channel-facing roles — channel account managers, distribution managers, and channel sales — on how to recruit, onboard, manage, and grow partners, and on the mechanics of the N-able Partner Program.
- Equip internal teams with the plays, talk tracks, and tools to drive partner adoption, attach, and expansion, keeping how N-able sells consistent with how partners are asked to sell.
- Lead the planning, rollout, and change management of channel enablement programs across regions, managing timelines, stakeholders, and cross-functional dependencies.
- Act as the enablement bridge between Global Channel Sales, Distribution, Product, and Marketing, gathering partner-facing pain points and prioritizing enablement needs.
- Define and report on channel enablement KPIs — partner activation and time-to-first-sale, certification completion, content adoption, and partner-sourced / partner-influenced pipeline — building partner readiness scorecards and continuously improving the portfolio.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in channel/partner enablement, channel marketing, partner programs, or channel sales
- 3+ years in a senior, lead, or program-management capacity supporting a partner ecosystem.
- Deep understanding of a two-tier distribution / channel model (distributors, VARs, resellers, MSPs) and how partners transact, sell, and grow.
- Hands-on knowledge of partner-program mechanics — partner tiers and benefits, deal registration, deal protection, MDF/co-op, and rebate/incentive structures, including regional program variations.
- Proven experience building partner onboarding and certification programs (sales and technical/product) and measuring their impact.
- Experience with partner portals / PRM and content management or sales enablement platforms (Seismic, Highspot, Mindtickle or equivalent), and LMS platforms (Lessonly, Seismic Learning, or equivalent LMS).
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with a track record of partnering with Channel Sales leadership, Distribution, Marketing, and Product to deliver partner-facing programs.
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication, able to present programs and strategy to senior leadership and to external partner audiences clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint/Teams, and reporting tools; familiarity with Camtasia and video-based enablement a plus.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple high-impact programs in a fast-paced, global environment, with strong emphasis on strategic execution and timely delivery.
