Role Summary As a Sales Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping customers understand how Compyl’s GRC platform solves real-world security and compliance challenges. Partnering closely with Sales, you’ll guide prospects through technical evaluations, design tailored solutions, and demonstrate the power and flexibility of Compyl’s platform. You’ll act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle, from discovery and technical validation to solution design and handoff. This is a highly cross-functional position that connects Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success, while also providing valuable feedback that influences product roadmap, onboarding, and customer experience strategies. Requirements 4+ years in Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Consulting (SaaS, cybersecurity, GRC, or compliance experience strongly preferred). Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred), security frameworks, and APIs. Proficient in communicating technical concepts to both technical and business audiences. Familiarity with GRC domains (e.g., TPRM, IGA, BCDR) and tools such as OneTrust, Riskonnect, Onspring, or Zilla. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as SOX, SOC 2, PCI, GDPR, NIST, and ISO 27001. Excellent collaboration skills and a pragmatic, “compliance-by-design” mindset. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS $140,000 to $165,000 plus meaningful equity participation at a Series A inflection point. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
