Senior Sales Engineer (Electric Heating)

As a Senior Sales Engineer , you will play a key role in expanding our Electric Heating business and bringing innovative technologies to residential, commercial, and light industrial customers. This is more than a sales role. You will influence how customers improve comfort, safety, and energy efficiency through advanced electrical heating and snow-melting solutions. By building trusted partnerships and creating tailored solutions, you will directly contribute to the growth of a market-leading business. Working closely with an international team, you will have the opportunity to combine your technical expertise with commercial leadership, develop new business opportunities, and make a visible impact in a fast-growing region. This position is preferably based in Almaty, Kazakhstan . What You’ll Be Doing Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and building a strong pipeline for electric heating and snow-melting solutions across Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and the wider Caucasus region. Guide customers throughout the full sales journey, from understanding their needs and proposing tailored solutions to securing orders and supporting successful project delivery. Build and strengthen long-term relationships with distributors, dealers, contractors, consultants, and key decision-makers to expand Danfoss' market presence. Deliver impactful customer presentations and product demonstrations that clearly communicate the value of electric heating technologies and energy-efficient solutions. Use market insights, customer feedback, and sales performance data to identify trends, uncover new opportunities, and support strategic business decisions. What We're Looking For Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field . 5+ years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or business development within electrical, heating, HVAC, energy, or related industries. Strong knowledge of electric heating solutions , electrical products, or comparable technical systems used in residential, commercial, or industrial applications. Experience working with dealer networks, distributors, and channel partners , combined with a proven ability to develop and grow customer relationships. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into customer-focused solutions. Fluent in Russian and comfortable communicating in English . Willingness to travel approximately 40-50% across the region to visit customers, partners, and project sites.
