Then you are exactly the person we are looking for as our new Senior Sales Manager in Kongsberg Discovery. In this role, you will play an important part in our dynamic sales team, delivering essential growth for our core business while finding new opportunities.
As a Senior Sales Manager for the Inertial product portfolio, you will be working across many sectors, both in the traditional maritime market as well as actively searching for new opportunities in any domain. Ideally you have a maritime background and experience from surveying or other field where you have a deep understanding of motion sensing, gyro compassing and Inertial Navigation Systems (INS). You will leverage your experience and expertise to provide the most operationally effective solutions for your customer’s application. You will be responsible for maintaining customer accounts, developing new business and achieving sales targets.

What You Will Be Doing
- Sales of current KONGSBERG Inertial systems and new developments within IMU, AHRS and INS product lines
- Represent KONGSBERG at industry conferences and exhibitions
- Meetings and follow-up with customers and integrators
- Prepare quotations and engage in contract negotiations
- Achieving forecasted sales targets for defined areas
- International travel will be required
- Technical education or proven technical knowledge in relevant fields
- Ideally 3 to 5 years+ operational experience in relevant industry
- Experience and proven success in solution-based sales and negotiations
- Self-drive and a solution-oriented mindset
- Awareness of relevant industries / competitors
