Senior Sales Specialist - B2B North America | Base salary: circa £55,000–£65,000 depending on experience, plus 40% OTE | Location: UK-based. Hybrid, 2 days a week in our Bristol office, or remote within the UK if you live outside commuting distance

At CareScribe, we’re building the foundations for more inclusive, neurodiverse-friendly spaces.

Our ambition is to become a trusted partner for organisations, combining technology, knowledge, and enablement to make inclusion work in real life, every day. Not just through individual adjustments, but through systems, tools, and confidence that scale.

Everything we build is grounded in real user needs and lived experiences. We believe organisational trust is earned through genuine adoption, measurable outcomes, and products that people truly value.

We’re now looking for a Senior Sales Specialist to develop and grow our B2B business with colleges and universities across North America.

A note from the hiring manager
Hi, I’m Molly Naylor-Kent, Head of Sales. North America is a key part of our growth, and this role is central to it. I’m looking for someone who knows how North American colleges and universities buy, can open doors in a market that’s still developing, and wants to help shape how we sell there.

You’ll work closely with me on where we focus, but you’ll own your pipeline and your results. It’s a chance to build something from the early stages, with a team that backs you.

About the role
This is a UK-based role, selling into North American higher education. You’ll win institution-wide licences with colleges and universities, from first conversation through to signed contract. Working within the strategy set by our Head of Sales, you’ll build a pipeline in a new and developing market and lead commercial conversations with senior decision-makers.

As our North American sales approach is still taking shape, you’ll have a real say in how we sell. What you learn in the market will shape where we go next.

In this role, success means a healthy, well-forecast pipeline, new institutions signed, and a repeatable sales approach we can build on as the team grows.

What you’ll be doing
Winning new business
  • Build your own pipeline with colleges and universities across North America.
  • Run the full sales cycle, from discovery and demos through to negotiation and close.
Developing the market
  • Test which segments, buyers and routes to market work best, and build a repeatable approach.
  • Make recommendations to the Head of Sales on where to focus next.
Bringing the market back to the business
  • Build a deep understanding of how North American institutions buy, from procurement to budget cycles.
  • Share what you learn with Marketing and Product to shape how we position and develop our products.

About you
You’ll likely be a great fit if you have:
  • A strong track record in B2B new business sales into North American higher education, or a closely related market such as EdTech or K-12
  • Experience selling software or technology as an Account Executive or similar, ideally SaaS or another subscription or licence-based sale
  • A clear understanding of how universities and colleges buy, including procurement, budget cycles and key stakeholders
  • Navigated complex buying cycles with multiple stakeholders, building credibility with senior decision-makers
  • Consistently met or exceeded your sales targets, with measurable results to show for it
  • Disciplined pipeline management, with accurate forecasting and a well-kept CRM
  • The drive to work independently in a new market, spot opportunities and bring ideas to the table
  • Motivation that comes from the difference our products make, as well as from hitting your numbers
It’s a bonus if you:
  • Have sold accessibility or assistive technology, or worked with disability services teams
  • Have helped open up a new market, territory or customer segment
  • Have represented your company at sector events and conferences
  • Bring an interest in or experience of neurodiversity, accessibility or inclusion
