We embrace bold thinking, adapt quickly to change, and continually raise the bar for the speed and quality of clinical research. We are expanding our team and seeking talented individuals to help drive industry leading innovation, With Heart®.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Functional Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Salesforce Functional Analyst, you will ensure that the Salesforce solutions our teams rely on are accurate, thoroughly tested, and ready for change. Your work supports the systems that help us manage client relationships, proposals, and contracts, which make it possible to deliver clinical research that advances new treatments for patients. This position plays a key role in translating business needs into clear requirements, validating every enhancement before it reaches production, and keeping releases reliable across the sprint cycle.

You will collaborate with business analysts, developers, administrators, and business stakeholders, work within Agile methodologies, and contribute from requirements through deployment. Responsibilities include business analysis, system and integration testing, Salesforce configuration, stakeholder support, and continuous improvement, with opportunities to deepen your expertise and influence how Salesforce supports our business.

You will join a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment focused on making a meaningful impact through rigorous testing, well-documented requirements, and dependable Salesforce releases. With diverse teams and continuous learning opportunities, the Salesforce Business Analyst and Quality Assurance Analyst can explore career paths and expand skills across the Salesforce platform, Agile delivery, and clinical development business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive system test cases for Salesforce enhancements, including managed packages and connected solutions. Perform regression testing, test integrations with other enterprise systems, maintain testing artifacts, and run end-to-end smoke testing during weekend sprint release deployments, which occur once every three weeks
  • Business Analysis: Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and document them as user stories in collaboration with business analysts. Create Visio flows that document new and existing business processes and functionality
  • Salesforce Configuration: Administer a range of declarative solutions to support sprint work and resolve production issues when needed
  • Collaboration and Issue Resolution: Translate requirements into effective test scenarios, identify, document, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle, and work with the development and administration team to resolve issues in a timely way. Take part in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives
  • Customer Support: Provide demos of new enhancements to business stakeholders and support them through user acceptance testing, including test data creation and training
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyze bugs, perform root cause analysis, and document results. Stay current on Salesforce releases and assess their impact on existing systems and tests. Proactively suggest improvements to testing processes and tools, and mentor junior team members in Salesforce testing practices and methodologies

You'll thrive in this role if you bring:

  • Strengths in Salesforce quality assurance, business analysis, and end-to-end testing of Salesforce solutions and their integrations
  • A proven track record of providing exceptional customer service to stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite leaders, and managing production issues with meticulous attention to detail
  • The ability to collaborate across teams and communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • A proactive mindset, a bias for action, and a flexible approach to new learning and changing priorities
  • Comfort working in Agile environments with tools such as Jira, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification
  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience with a strong focus on business analysis, system and integration testing
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, and business processes, and of Salesforce security
  • Knowledge of the full sales cycle, from lead generation and request for proposal through the contract lifecycle, including work orders and changes in scope
  • Ability to administer all aspects of Sales Cloud, including security and access, configuration (such as Flow, approval processes, validation rules, and Lightning record pages), reports and dashboards, and data management using Data Loader and Workbench
  • Proficiency in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts, and experience with automated testing tools for Salesforce (e.g., Selenium, Provar, Copado Robotic Testing)
  • Familiarity with API testing tools and techniques
  • Practical experience with Agile methodologies and related tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Microsoft Excel skills to clean and manipulate data, including formulas to compare datasets
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in shifts from 12 to 9 PM IST and provide support for weekend releases

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, clinical development, or a related field
  • Business analyst experience

We believe in flexibility, growth, and creating space for people to do their best work. Join us and be part of a team where your contributions help shape the future of clinical research.
