The Senior Transformation Project Manager leads the end-to-end delivery of the Salesforce focused commercial transformation programme within the Sales & Marketing Transformation pillar. The role drives business-led redesign and simplification of agreed commercial processes, enabled primarily through Salesforce and its interfaces with Workday and Kantata, adopting industry-standard processes by default and replacing fragmented processes and manual workarounds with integrated workflows, trusted data and intelligent automation, including AI-enabled capabilities where agreed in scope, to deliver measurable cost efficiency and growth outcomes.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Transformation, the role owns the integrated delivery plan and leads business, technology and Systems Integrator delivery against agreed scope, milestones, resources, risks, dependencies, costs and benefits. The role’s primary accountability is Salesforce-focused delivery, including dependencies and interfaces with related workstreams. The role leads requirements clarification and process redesign with business analysts, process owners and technical specialists, ensuring business decisions enable timely delivery, with technical design, configuration and development owned by the relevant specialists.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end Salesforce-focused commercial transformation programme, from business process redesign and prioritisation through delivery, adoption, benefits realisation and closure.
- Own the integrated programme delivery plan covering scope, deliverables, milestones, resources, costs, dependencies and critical paths across prioritised Salesforce enhancements, process improvements, integration changes, data quality, testing and business readiness.
- Act as the client-side delivery lead for the Systems Integrator (SI), owning the integrated client/SI plan and holding the SI accountable for delivery against the Statement of Work (SOW). Manage milestone and deliverable acceptance, change requests and associated commercial impacts within agreed delegated authority, ensuring business design decisions remain client-owned.
- Manage programme risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies, ensuring clear ownership, mitigation and timely escalation.
- Lead requirements clarification and business process redesign with business analysts, process owners and Salesforce specialists, assessing current usage, identifying underutilised capabilities and process gaps, and prioritising improvements against business value. Adopt industry-standard processes by default and enable timely client-owned business design decisions, with technical design, configuration and development owned by the relevant specialists.
- Ensure business requirements and acceptance criteria are validated and traceable through delivery; coordinate testing of enhancements and affected integrations, data quality validation, user acceptance testing and defect resolution with clear ownership and business sign-off.
- Coordinate communications, training and process changes to increase effective and consistent use of Salesforce; manage readiness for enhancement releases, post-release support and handover to business-as-usual owners and support teams, minimising disruption to existing operations.
- Agree baseline measures, success criteria and named business benefit owners with stakeholders. Track agreed commercial outcomes, cost efficiency, reduced manual processing and automation benefits alongside platform utilisation, user adoption, data quality and process effectiveness, and ensure benefits realisation and lessons learned are captured at programme closure.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Experience leading Salesforce-enabled transformation, including implementation and optimisation in live environments, improving commercial processes, utilisation, adoption and business value through delivery and BAU handover.
- Client-side leadership of multi-workstream Salesforce programmes with a Systems Integrator, managing SOWs, milestones, deliverable acceptance and change requests.
- Experience leading business-led technology programmes, lead-to-cash transformation, process improvement and operating-model change.
- Strong programme planning, governance, RAID, dependency management and reporting skills.
- Experience leading cross-functional business and technology teams, managing external partners and influencing in a matrix environment.
- Experience managing budgets, resources, change control and benefits realisation, accountable for financial and business outcomes.
- Ability to facilitate workshops, assess usage and processes, clarify requirements and prioritise improvements. Working knowledge of Salesforce configuration, integrations, data quality, testing, releases and adoption; hands-on configuration or development is not required.
