About role As a Senior SAP ABAP Engineer you will be playing a key role in building the backend of a cloud-based SaaS platform built on S/4HANA technologies. In this role, you will develop and maintain scalable, secure and high-performance components that meet our clients’ needs. Your expertise will play a crucial role in delivering innovative solutions and enhancing the functionality of our Fioneer offerings. As a Senior Engineer you will also share your experience with junior colleagues and be take part in their further education and development. Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain scalable and secure backend components for innovative lending solutions built on ABAP and further SAP technologies. Build high-quality standard software in an agile environment, collaborating directly with internal stakeholders, customers and partners. Partner closely with front-end developers, designers, and product owners to deliver end-to-end solutions. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues. Ensure engineering excellence through structured testing (unit, integration, UAT support), adherence to clean code principles and continuous improvements. Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation. Stay up to date with innovations in S/4HANA, RAP, and SAP BTP.
