Senior SAP CAP/BTP Developer

We're on the hunt for a Senior SAP BTP/CAP Developer capable of delivering enterprise services the modern way. This role gives you ownership over designing and building scalable, event-driven microservices on the BTP platform, bridging core SAP systems with current cloud APIs through CAP, Node.js/Java, and solid security standards

Responsibilities

• Take the lead in designing and building enterprise-grade microservices and extensions with SAP CAP
• Construct performance-driven backend systems using Node.js and/or Java
• Design integration solutions that connect SAP BTP, core SAP systems like S/4HANA, and third-party APIs via OData and REST
• Implement reliable cloud security measures, including identity propagation and authorization protocols, through XSUAA and the BTP Destination Service

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related area of study
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on, relevant experience
• Demonstrated ability to build enterprise-grade applications using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP)
• Proficient with Node.js and/or Java for developing backend microservices
• Background working on SAP BTP integrations with core SAP solutions and external APIs, covering REST and OData
• Solid familiarity with SAP BTP security, XSUAA authentication, and destination service configuration
• Upper-Intermediate English language competency (B2)

Nice to have

• SAP BTP certification, such as SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP Cloud Application Programming Model, considered a strong addition to your background
• Experience with SAP Fiori elements and event-driven architecture built around SAP Event Mesh
