About the role

The Senior SAP Cyber Security Consultant is a senior security professional responsible for improving the overall security posture of SAP environments by identifying security risks, translating audit findings into remediation actions, and driving security initiatives to completion. The role combines SAP technical knowledge with cyber security, infrastructure, network security, and stakeholder management expertise while coordinating activities across multiple technical teams and management stakeholders.

Daily challenges

• Perform end-to-end SAP security assessments across SAP landscapes and identify cyber security risks and improvement opportunities.
• Review audit findings and security vulnerabilities and convert them into actionable remediation plans with clear ownership and tracking.
• Drive security remediation projects and ensure corrective actions are completed, tested, and properly documented.
• Advise on SAP infrastructure and network security, including firewall configurations, network segmentation, secure connectivity, and communication controls.
• Support secure communication and data protection through encryption, TLS/SSL implementation, certificate management, and security best practices.
• Coordinate security activities across multiple teams, including SAP Basis, Infrastructure, Network, IAM, Development, Security Operations, and Audit functions.
• Provide security reporting and management guidance, including KPI/KRI tracking, risk reporting, prioritization of improvements, and executive-level security recommendations.
  

eXperience and skills required

• Strong experience leading cyber security and security remediation initiatives in complex enterprise environments.
• Good knowledge of SAP architecture and SAP landscapes, preferably including ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
• Understanding of SAP Basis from a security perspective, including security hardening and platform-level controls.
• Knowledge of network security concepts, including firewalls, network segmentation, secure ports, and communication protocols.
• Practical expertise in encryption, TLS/SSL, certificates, and data protection mechanisms.
• Understanding of identity and access management concepts, including authentication, user provisioning, and privileged account security.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical security risks into business-focused recommendations and management reporting
• Fluency in English.

We offer salary from EUR 2000 – 3500 gross per month. Salary can be higher depending on experience and skillset.
