Role: Senior SAP Developer

Location: Germany (Remote)

Workshops: Hameln / Frankfurt, Germany (Physical attendance is mandatory for scheduled workshops at either location.)

Type: Permanent

Language Proficiency: German is mandatory (B2, C1, or C2), and English

Work Authorisation: Visa sponsorship is not available. Candidates must currently be based in Germany and hold valid work authorisation to work in Germany.

Role Summary:

We are looking for Senior SAP Developers to design, develop, integrate and enhance SAP solutions as part of a large technology-transformation programme. The role supports SAP platform upgrades, application integration, technical migration and ongoing application development.

Key Responsibilities:

· Analyse existing SAP applications, custom developments, interfaces and data flows.

· Design, develop and enhance SAP components based on functional requirements.

· Support SAP migration, upgrade and integration activities.

· Develop and maintain interfaces between SAP and surrounding applications.

· Prepare technical designs, development specifications and implementation documentation.

· Perform unit testing and support system and integration testing.

· Analyse technical defects and implement appropriate resolutions.

· Support data migration, reconciliation and production-readiness activities.

· Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards.

· Work closely with Requirements Engineers, architects, testers and Project Managers.

· Support release, deployment and transition-to-support activities.

Mandatory Requirements:

· Senior-level SAP development experience.

· Strong knowledge of SAP development, configuration or integration.

· Experience across the full software-development lifecycle.

· Experience translating functional requirements into technical solutions.

· Strong debugging, problem-solving and defect-resolution skills.

· Experience developing or supporting interfaces between SAP and external systems.

· Good technical documentation and English communication skills.

· Based in Germany and able to attend workshops in Hameln or Frankfurt.

Relevant SAP Experience:

· SAP CML or FS-CML.

· SAP BCA or BCS.

· SAP Business Partner.

· SAP S/4 transformation or migration.

· SAP integration and interface development.

· Data migration and reconciliation.

· SAP-based financial-services applications.

Nice-to-Have Experience:

· Banking, lending or financial-services experience.

· German language proficiency.

· Experience working in large transformation or regulatory programmes.

Working Arrangement:

· The role is remote within Germany.

· Physical attendance is required for scheduled workshops in Hameln or Frankfurt.

· The candidate must be based in Germany and able to travel to either workshop location when required.
