About the role

We are looking for a senior SAP HCM Functional Analyst to support a SuccessFactors Employee Central implementation for a major utilities company in Belgium.

The project will establish Employee Central as the system of record for employee and organisational data, while SAP ECC HCM will remain in place for downstream HR processes. The consultant will analyse the existing SAP HCM solution and help define how data and processes will work in the target landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the existing SAP ECC HCM Personnel Administration (PA) and Organisational Management (OM) configuration, processes, data model, interfaces and dependencies.
• Perform fit-gap analysis between Employee Central and SAP ECC HCM.
• Define and validate data mappings, value mappings, transformation rules, defaulting logic and data ownership.
• Assess the impact on infotypes, organisational objects, personnel actions, workflows, authorisations, reports and downstream processes.
• Contribute to the functional design of Business Integration Builder (BIB) and related integration components.
• Support data cleansing, validation, migration and reconciliation.
• Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, mapping workbooks and test scenarios.
• Coordinate and support unit, integration, regression and user acceptance testing.
• Support cutover, go-live, hypercare and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Strong functional expertise in SAP ECC HCM PA and OM.
• Experience with infotypes, personnel actions, enterprise and personnel structures, OM objects and relationships.
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central data and organisational concepts.
• Experience in at least one Employee Central implementation or integration involving SAP ECC HCM.
• Knowledge of BIB and EC-to-ECC replication is strongly preferred.
• Experience with fit-gap analysis, data mapping, functional design, testing and cutover.
• Ability to work effectively with HR stakeholders, functional teams, developers and integration specialists.
• Strong analytical, communication and documentation skills.
• Fluent in English - French is a strong asset.

Assignment details

• Location: Brussels, near Brussels North station
• Working arrangement: 3 days on-site and 2 days remote per week
• Duration: 12 months, with possible extension
• Start date: ASAP
• Workload: Full-time
