About the Role

Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Senior SAP Integration Developer to support the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA).

The Senior SAP Integration Developer will support the technical design, development, testing, deployment, and post-release support of SAP integration solution architecture. This position requires extensive experience with SAP PI/PO, SAP S/4HANA, enterprise system integration, and modern API frameworks.

In addition to hands-on technical responsibilities, the Senior SAP Integration Developer will contribute to planning, staffing, forecasting, work management, and the mentoring and development of junior team members.

This position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust. An active Public Trust is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and provide post-release support for SAP integration solutions.

  • Use SAP PI/PO and modern API frameworks to enable system-to-system communication, data exchange, and integration.

  • Define and assess integration requirements and technical feasibility.

  • Participate in large-system and subsystem planning activities.

  • Ensure integration activities adhere to established schedules and technical requirements.

  • Develop and maintain technical integration documentation.

  • Provide knowledge transfer related to modern, standardized API integration techniques and best practices.

  • Serve as a subject matter resource for SAP Process Integration.

  • Support budgeting, staffing, forecasting, and work planning activities.

  • Lead, mentor, and train junior technical team members.

  • Collaborate with functional, technical, and client teams throughout the integration lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen.

  • 8+ years of SAP PI/PO and/or relevant system integration experience.

  • Advanced experience with SAP PI/PO.

  • Advanced experience with SAP S/4HANA.

  • Experience designing and supporting enterprise SAP integration solutions.

  • Experience with modern API frameworks and system-to-system integration.

  • Experience supporting integration feasibility assessments and technical planning.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Public Trust.

  • Experience leading or mentoring technical team members.

  • Experience with budgeting, staffing, forecasting, and work planning.

  • Experience supporting large-scale federal SAP environments.

  • Experience developing technical integration standards and documentation.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree.

The successful Senior SAP Integration Developer will provide both technical depth and leadership across SAP integration activities.

Success in this role means delivering reliable and scalable SAP integrations, providing sound technical guidance, supporting effective planning and forecasting, sharing integration best practices, and helping develop junior team members while meeting project schedules and technical requirements.

Location: Remote, with up to 25% onsite support in Arlington, VA/Washington, DC or Richmond, VA
Work Arrangement: Primarily remote
