Senior Scrum Master – Mission Overview

The client is undergoing a significant agile transformation, moving from four separate sub-products and backlogs to a unified product with a shared vision and prioritised backlog.

The Senior Scrum Master will lead and coach 3–4 agile teams, improving collaboration, delivery flow, and agile maturity while supporting the transition to a more product-centric organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Coach and facilitate 3–4 agile teams working towards a common backlog.

• Support agile transformation and establish consistent ways of working.

• Improve planning, prioritisation, collaboration, and delivery predictability.

• Manage cross-team dependencies and remove organisational obstacles.

• Work closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, and stakeholders.

• Use flow metrics such as throughput, WIP, lead time, and cycle time to drive measurable improvements.

Essential Requirements

• 8+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master in large organisations.

• Proven experience coaching multiple teams simultaneously towards a shared product backlog.

• Experience supporting major agile transformations.

• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Jira, and agile delivery practices.

• Experience using flow metrics to improve delivery performance.

• Excellent written and spoken Swedish and English.

• Experience with scaled agile frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or Nexus is advantageous.
