Senior Scrum Master

Job: - Senior Scrum Master- (Must have a valid Baseline Security Clearance)

Duration: - 12 Months

Location: - Melbourne VIC, Canberra ACT, Brisbane QLD, and Sydney NSW

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Scrum Master, with a strong technical and cyber security background to manage, coordinate and deliver its cyber security compliance work packages for a long-term contract role with a Federal Agency.

Required Skills

• 3 years + experience as a Scrum Master in Agile
• 3 years + experience with Jira
• An Agile Certification is preferred.
• Proven delivery experience in cyber security / cyber security projects.

Desirable skills

• Cyber security project experience or Essential 8
• Prior commercial experience as a systems analyst

Responsibilities

• Managing the delivery of cyber security work packages required under the Digital ID Act 2024
• Running daily standups
• Coaching team members
• Managing Triage processes for daily scan results and overseeing coordinating patching / governance processes across the relevant ICT stakeholders
• Ensuring that SLAs are met for Essential 8 patching and scanning

Visa Status and Security Clearance

• The candidate must hold a valid Baseline Security Clearance at the time of submitting their application.

Contract Details

• Experience level: - APS6,EL1 equivalent
• Estimated Start Date: - Friday, 01 January 2027
• Working arrangements: - (Hybrid)
• Contract length up to 12 months with up to a maximum of 24 months potential extensions.
• Working arrangements: - Full-time onsite for the first 6 weeks, with potential for hybrid work thereafter, provided the worker resides within reasonable travelling distance to attend onsite as required for emergencies or business needs.
