Show job description

We're looking for a Senior SDR to be the very first sales hire at a funded PropTech startup. Right now the founder does all the selling himself, and you'll take over prospecting and early-stage selling from him. You'll open new enterprise accounts, run discovery with senior real estate stakeholders and qualify opportunities. If you have closing experience, you'll take deals all the way to signature. There's no ready-made script or playbook: you'll learn from the founder's calls and pipeline, see what works and build your own approach. The role suits someone who really enjoys picking up the phone, handles rejection well and works on their own. There's a clear path into an Account Executive role, with uncapped commission and equity on top of the base.

Details:

Schedule: Full time

Location: Remote within Poland / Hybrid – Warsaw office preferred

Start: ASAP

Duration: Long-term

English: Fluent / near-native (Polish is a plus, not required)

Type of collaboration: B2B Contract

About the project: The company is a PropTech startup that automatically generates technical building plans and 3D office layouts. Its core technology is algorithmic, with machine learning on top. It cuts the time from a client brief to a usable plan for office leasing and workplace design. The product has proven product-market fit, about $370k ARR and $3M raised so far, and a $5M round is in progress. Customers include corporates (Fortune 500 companies are in the target profile), real estate developers, and architecture and engineering firms. Deals are usually $30k–100k with a 6–8 week sales cycle, sometimes longer for large accounts. Communication is mostly async, and the founder will spend real time onboarding and supporting the first sales hire.

You have:

B2B sales experience (SDR, BDR or AE) selling to large companies or enterprise accounts, with long deal cycles and several stakeholders

Fluent, near-native professional English

Strong comfort with cold calling and in-person prospecting, including at trade shows

Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and outbound sequencing tools

Ability to quickly understand and explain a fairly technical product

Ability to run discovery and prospecting on your own, without a scripted playbook

Proactiveness, high EQ and resilience: you're comfortable hearing "no" and you keep going

Based in Poland (Warsaw is a strong plus)

Nice to have:

Background in PropTech or commercial real estate: office agency, tenant or landlord representation, leasing, workplace or facility management software, or architecture / construction tech

Experience at a startup or as one of a company's first sales people

Experience closing deals in the $30k–100k range

A strong cold-calling SDR/BDR background, or BDR-to-AE training at a top software vendor

Trade show or real estate fair experience

Clear, measurable results (quota attainment, SQLs, deals closed)

Polish language

Ambition to grow into an AE / closing role within the next 12–18 months

What to do:

Open new accounts and book meetings with enterprise buyers: Heads of Leasing, Real Estate, Workplace, and Tenant and Landlord Representation, Asset Managers, plus developers and architecture / engineering firms

Prospect mainly by phone and at trade shows, supported by LinkedIn Sales Navigator and outbound sequences

Run structured discovery calls, uncover pain points and qualify leads

Take over the existing pipeline and move qualified opportunities forward, through to closing for the more senior profile

Hit targets of about 25 SQLs and 1.5 deals per month

Learn from the founder's call recordings and joint sales meetings, then build your own repeatable approach

Share market feedback with the founder to help shape the go-to-market strategy

Help set up the future sales team and processes
