Senior SEO & AI Search Optimization Specialist (SEO, AEO & GEO)

Overview

We're looking for an Senior SEO & AI Search Optimization Specialist to lead our organic growth across websites, SaaS products, and service-based businesses.

This role combines traditional SEO with modern AI search optimization (AEO & GEO). You'll be responsible for improving search visibility, technical performance, content strategy, and authority across both search engines and AI-powered platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity.

Contract: 6-month renewable (Remote)

Responsibilities

SEO Strategy

• Develop and execute SEO, AEO, and GEO strategies aligned with business goals.
• Conduct keyword research, search intent analysis, and content planning.
• Build topical authority, content clusters, and long-term organic growth roadmaps.
• Identify new growth opportunities through market and search trend analysis.

Technical SEO

• Perform comprehensive technical SEO audits.
• Optimize crawlability, indexing, rendering, site architecture, URL structure, and internal linking.
• Improve Core Web Vitals, page speed, mobile performance, and overall technical health.
• Implement and validate structured data (Schema.org), XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonicals, redirects, and other technical SEO best practices.

Content & AI Search

• Create and optimize content for both traditional search engines and AI-powered search experiences.
• Produce SEO content briefs and optimize metadata, headings, images, and on-page elements.
• Improve visibility for Featured Snippets, AI Overviews, and answer engines.
• Apply semantic SEO, entity optimization, and E-E-A-T best practices.

Research & Authority Building

• Perform competitor analysis, keyword gap analysis, content gap analysis, and SERP research.
• Develop internal linking strategies to strengthen topical authority.
• Plan and execute backlink acquisition strategies while monitoring backlink quality and authority.

Performance & Reporting

• Track rankings, traffic, conversions, indexing, and technical performance.
• Build reports and dashboards using GA4, Google Search Console, and Looker Studio.
• Continuously test, analyze, and improve SEO performance through data-driven decisions.

Requirements

Required Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Technical SEO and Organic Search.
• Strong understanding of Technical SEO, On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, Content SEO, and AI Search Optimization (AEO & GEO).
• Proven experience developing SEO strategies that drive measurable organic growth.
• Hands-on experience with keyword research, content strategy, competitor analysis, backlink strategy, and internal linking optimization.
• Deep understanding of crawlability, indexing, JavaScript SEO, Core Web Vitals, structured data, rendering, and search engine behavior.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP status codes, redirects, CDN, and server-side rendering (SSR).
