Where you fitSEO for coches.net, motos.net and milanuncios sits within our Marketing team and is led by our Head of SEO. This is the first hire to grow the function: you will help build how we do SEO and GEO for some of Spain's largest marketplaces (coches.net, motos.net and Milanuncios) which serve millions of users every month across millions of indexed pages and multiple categories. Search is changing fast: users increasingly discover products and brands through AI answers, not just blue links. Our goal is to build scalable, AI-ready organic growth for our marketplaces, so they stay visible and trusted wherever people search, whether that is Google or an LLM.
About the roleYou will own the SEO & GEO growth agenda for one of our marketplaces, from vision to execution. Reporting to the Head of SEO, you will be embedded in our product teams, working closely with product managers, engineers and data analysts to build SEO and AI-search thinking into how our platforms are designed and built.
This role is perfect for a hands-on, data-driven SEO professional who wants to work at real scale and help shape how classifieds marketplaces compete in the era of AI-driven discovery.

What you will do
  • Own your marketplace's organic growth: Design and execute an ambitious SEO & GEO roadmap for your marketplace, aligned with our business and product goals, focused on scale, automation and long-term growth.
  • Lead on GEO and AI search: Make sure our marketplaces are visible, cited and accurately represented in AI-generated answers (Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and others). Monitor our AI visibility, understand how LLMs source and describe our content, and turn that into product and content initiatives.
  • Hardwire SEO into the product: Work embedded with product and engineering teams so that SEO and GEO requirements are part of product design and the development lifecycle, not an afterthought.
  • Technical SEO at scale: Identify and solve technical issues (crawlability, indexability, rendering, site architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals) on platforms with millions of pages.
  • Experiment and automate: Run large-scale SEO experiments and A/B tests, and build automation that removes manual work and accelerates growth.
  • Data-driven decisions: Monitor, analyze and report on key SEO and GEO metrics (rankings, traffic, AI visibility, conversions) and demonstrate the business impact of SEO initiatives.
  • Stakeholder communication: Present findings, strategies and results to product leadership and C-level stakeholders in a clear and compelling way.
  • Content and keyword strategy: Conduct keyword, intent and competitive research to find new growth opportunities, and guide content strategies that match user intent across search and AI answers.
  • Brand visibility and digital PR: Build our brand's authority and presence across the web (mentions, citations, partnerships and digital PR) to strengthen both traditional rankings and visibility in LLMs.

What you bring
  • Experience at scale: 5+ years in a dedicated SEO role, with proven experience scaling organic growth on large, complex platforms (multi-million pages, multi-category products). Experience in marketplaces, classifieds or e-commerce is a significant plus.
  • AI search knowledge: A solid understanding of how AI search and LLMs are changing discovery, and hands-on experience (or strong curiosity) with GEO approaches.
  • Technical skills: Comfortable with HTML, CSS and JavaScript as they relate to SEO, including JS-based sites built with React or Next.js.
  • Data skills: Highly analytical and comfortable with large datasets. SQL (ideally BigQuery) and Python are part of your toolkit for analysis, data pipelines and automation.
  • Experimentation mindset: Experience designing and running SEO tests and A/B experiments, and turning results into decisions.
  • Tools: Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Botify, Screaming Frog and tools such as Ahrefs or Semrush. Experience with LLM visibility tracking tools is a plus.
  • Influence without authority: An excellent communicator who can influence cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Content) and explain complex topics simply.
  • Problem solver: Proactive, curious and energized by complex challenges.
  • Languages: Fluency in Spanish and English.
