Join our global SENSE ServiceNow platform team and help design, develop, and evolve enterprise-scale digital solutions used across Siemens Healthineers worldwide.

We are looking for an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer with strong hands-on development expertise, solution design skills, and an engineering mindset. Beyond development, you will take technical ownership of complex solutions, influence architectural decisions, contribute to platform best practices, and mentor other developers.

Working closely with architects, product owners, developers, testers, and business stakeholders, you will play a key role in delivering scalable, secure, and high-quality ServiceNow solutions that create measurable business value across a global organization.

As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will:

• Design, develop, and deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• Take end-to-end technical ownership of complex solutions, from design and implementation to deployment and production support.
• Translate business requirements into sustainable solution designs aligned with platform standards and enterprise architecture.
• Develop advanced ServiceNow applications, workflows, scripts, and integrations using JavaScript, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST APIs, and related technologies.
• Contribute to technical architecture, code reviews, development standards, and platform governance activities.
• Drive platform improvements by addressing technical debt, supporting upgrades, and promoting best practices in quality, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders, architects, product owners, and platform teams to deliver business value.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance across the development team.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Support platform modernization initiatives, automation, and adoption of new ServiceNow capabilities.

Required Technical Skills & Experience

You bring:

• strong hands-on ServiceNow development experience, ideally in enterprise environments
• Strong expertise in JavaScript and ServiceNow development (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, ACLs, APIs)
• Experience designing and delivering complex ServiceNow solutions across the full development lifecycle
• Solid understanding of ServiceNow architecture, security, data model, and development best practices
• Experience with at least two ServiceNow areas such as ITSM, ITOM, CSM, FSM, CMDB, or custom applications
• Strong integration experience using REST, SOAP, OAuth, APIs, and MID Server
• Experience with technical solution design, code reviews, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and platform upgrades
• Knowledge of source control, CI/CD, DevOps practices, automated testing (ATF), and deployment processes
• Understanding of ITIL and Enterprise Service Management principles
• Professional working proficiency in English

Certifications

Required

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, CSA
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, CAD

Preferred

One or more of the following would be considered a strong advantage:

• Certified Implementation Specialist in ITSM, CSM, FSM, ITOM, Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB, SPM, or another relevant product area
• ITIL Foundation or higher ITIL certification
• ServiceNow micro-certifications related to IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, Automated Test Framework, Performance Analytics, or platform security

In line with applicable pay transparency requirements, the minimum gross monthly base salary for this position is 3000€

In addition, this role includes a variable compensation component, depending on individual and/or company performance.

The final offer will be determined based on qualifications, skills, and experience and may exceed the stated minimum.
