Senior ServiceNow Tester
Remote
Grant Leading Technology is seeking a detail-oriented Senior ServiceNow Tester to support the testing, validation, maintenance, and enhancement of ServiceNow and Nuvolo solutions in a federal environment. The candidate will support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) FRAMES platform by developing and executing test plans, test cases, test scripts, validating business requirements, identifying and documenting defects, and verifying that application functionality, workflows, integrations, and data perform as expected. This role will collaborate with developers, administrators, functional stakeholders, and project team members to support platform stability, quality assurance, and successful delivery of system enhancements and releases as GLT assumes increased responsibility for the FRAMES environment.
This position will be remote, and the hours are 8 am to 5 pm EST.
Responsibilities:
· Develop, document, and execute test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts for ServiceNow and Nuvolo applications supporting FAA FRAMES business requirements
· Plan, coordinate, and execute manual unit-level, functional, system integration (SIT), regression, volume/performance and end-to-end testing; support FAA-led User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate incident fixes or approved business & technical requirements, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
· Validate ServiceNow forms, fields, tables, views, notifications, reports, dashboards, workflows, and application configurations
· Test ServiceNow Flow Designer flows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, and other platform components to verify expected functionality
· Test Nuvolo FRAMES Real Property (RP) and Personal Property (PP) functionality; examples include asset creation, updates, transfers, disposal, inventory, data visibility, user roles, approvals, and reporting workflows, as applicable to approved requirements.
· Validate FRAMES upstream/downstream interfaces, including applicable asset discovery, inventory, financial, and DOT integrations; test data mappings, import sets, transform maps, scheduled jobs, interface failures, and exception handling.
· Perform source-to-target data validation, reconciliation, and negative testing to verify accuracy, completeness, integrity, and consistency of RP/PP records, including data supporting FRPC/FRPP reporting.
· Review functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify test conditions, expected results, dependencies, and potential risks
· Identify, document, classify, and track defects through resolution, including severity, priority, reproducible steps, expected/actual results, supporting evidence, and linkage to related FRAMES incidents, problems, or change requests and traceability to Requirements.
· Collaborate with FAA stakeholders, developers, administrators, and technical teams; perform retesting, verify corrective actions, confirm resolution and maintain defect status through closure.
· Execute regression testing following application enhancements, configuration changes, platform upgrades, patches, releases, and defect remediation
· Develop and maintain repeatable regression test scripts and, where feasible, leverage ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) or comparable tools to automate stable, high-value test scenarios.
· Execute pre-release regression testing, validate deployment readiness, and perform post-deployment testing; document test results, unresolved defects, risks, and recommended go/no-go status for review by the ServiceNow Administrator/Release Lead and FAA-authorized stakeholders.
· Maintain requirements-to-test traceability, establish risk-based test coverage, and ensure critical FRAMES workflows, integrations, role-based access, data changes, and previously reported defects are included in regression testing.
· Use ServiceNow SDLC capabilities and related project tools to support backlog management, sprint planning, test execution, defect tracking, and delivery documentation
· Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, requirements reviews, sprint activities, and release planning to support quality throughout the software development lifecycle
· Prepare and maintain test plans, scripts, execution results, execution evidence, defect logs, and test summary reports documenting test coverage, pass/fail results, outstanding defects, risks, and release-readiness recommendations.
· Support knowledge-transfer activities by documenting existing FRAMES functionality, integrations, system dependencies, known issues, and testing procedures
· Follow GLT and client standards for security, accessibility, governance, configuration management, change control, and release management
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Math, Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
· Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, enterprise application testing, or application support
· Minimum of eight (8) years of hands-on ServiceNow testing experience, including functional, unit, integration, and regression testing.
· Working knowledge of ServiceNow platform concepts, including tables, forms, users, groups, roles, workflows, notifications, reports, dashboards, and application configurations
· Experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios based on business requirements and acceptance criteria
· Experience performing functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing
· Experience identifying, documenting, tracking, retesting, and validating software defects
· Familiarity with ServiceNow development and configuration components, including Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions
· Experience validating REST APIs, system integrations, data imports, transform maps, or other application interfaces
· Experience validating data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across enterprise applications
· Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery practices, including user stories, sprint planning, acceptance criteria, backlog management, and release activities
· Experience using defect tracking, test management, or application lifecycle management tools
· Experience leading test planning, defect triage, requirements traceability, and test reporting for complex enterprise applications
· Ability to analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective testing scenarios
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, organizational, and documentation skills
· Ability to communicate testing results, defects, risks, and technical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
