Role Description The Senior Site Engineer is responsible for leading and overseeing day-to-day site operations for construction and finishing projects, ensuring work is executed according to design, specifications, safety standards, and project schedules. This full-time, hybrid role is based in Cairo, Egypt, with primary duties performed on-site while allowing for some work-from-home activities such as documentation, reporting, and coordination. Key responsibilities include supervising site teams, coordinating with project managers, designers, and subcontractors, monitoring progress, and resolving technical and operational issues. The Senior Site Engineer will also conduct site inspections, enforce quality control procedures, verify structural and civil engineering requirements, and ensure compliance with local regulations and client expectations. The role involves regular reporting, material and resource planning, and proactive communication to keep stakeholders informed and projects on track.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong on-site supervision and field management skills, with proven ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary site teams.
• Candidates should possess effective communication skills to collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders, and to produce clear reports and documentation.
• Candidates should possess solid quality control skills, including experience with inspections, adherence to standards, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Candidates should possess structural engineering and civil engineering knowledge to review drawings, validate designs, and ensure safe and compliant execution.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil or Arch Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Several years of experience in site engineering within construction and finishing projects, preferably across commercial and residential sectors.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, safety regulations, and local building codes in Egypt.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering and project tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office, project scheduling software) and solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup with flexibility to be present on-site as required and to manage priorities under tight timelines.
