About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to help us build more reliable, resilient, and intelligent production platforms.
In this role, you’ll work closely with engineering, cloud, and infrastructure teams to understand how our systems behave in production, identify potential reliability risks, and improve how we detect, diagnose, and prevent issues.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex production challenges and wants to move beyond reactive incident response. You’ll use observability, automation, and production data to uncover patterns, anticipate potential failures, and help engineering teams address problems before they impact customers.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze production telemetry to identify anomalies, degradation patterns, and emerging reliability risks.
- Improve observability across critical systems through better metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerting.
- Define and enhance SLIs, SLOs, availability, latency, error rates, and operational health indicators.
- Analyze incidents and Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) to identify recurring patterns and turn findings into preventive engineering improvements.
- Improve detection, diagnosis, and recovery through stronger signals, automation, and operational practices.
- Build tools and automation that reduce manual investigation and accelerate troubleshooting.
- Partner with engineering teams to strengthen production readiness, resilience, and platform reliability.
- Use historical production data to help identify potential issues earlier and prevent recurring incidents.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Production Engineering, DevOps, Software Engineering, or a similar technical role.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting large-scale distributed production systems.
- Strong knowledge of modern observability practices, including metrics, logs, distributed tracing, dashboards, and alerting.
- Experience with incident analysis, RCA, and production troubleshooting.
- Understanding of SLIs, SLOs, availability, latency, error rates, and reliability engineering principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot across application, cloud, infrastructure, and data layers.
- Software development or scripting experience for building operational tools and automation.
- Strong communication skills and professional proficiency in English.
Technical Experience
We’re looking for experience with several of the following technologies:
- Microsoft Azure, Azure Monitor, and Application Insights
- Log Analytics and KQL
- .NET, C#, Java, or distributed APIs
- Kubernetes, AKS, Docker, or Container Apps
- SQL Server, Redis, and messaging technologies
- Azure DevOps, Git, GitHub, and CI/CD
- OpenTelemetry and distributed tracing
- PagerDuty, Datadog, or similar monitoring and incident-management platforms
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting high-volume e-commerce, travel, marketplace, or transactional platforms.
- Experience working with a combination of legacy and modern architectures.
- Advanced telemetry analytics or KQL experience.
- Exposure to AIOps, automated anomaly detection, incident enrichment, or AI-assisted reliability engineering.
- Experience with chaos engineering, automated remediation, or self-healing systems.
- Experience using historical production data to identify and prevent recurring reliability issues.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role means helping us become increasingly proactive and data-driven about reliability.
You’ll help create stronger production visibility, detect abnormal system behavior earlier, reduce recurring incidents, accelerate diagnosis and recovery, and increase automation across our platforms.
Ultimately, the goal is not just to understand what happened, but to use production intelligence to anticipate what could happen next and take action before customers are impacted.
