Senior Software Architect

From August 1 2025, Bosch Home Comfort Group acquired 100% of the Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning joint venture, including the 60% stake owned by Johnson Controls International plc and the 40% stake owned by Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc. With this transaction, Bosch Home Comfort Group is a trademark licensee of Hitachi, Ltd. ACCOUNTABILITIES: • Driving definition and unification of control software architecture for air conditioning, refrigeration, and chiller equipment and their controllers. 空調機、冷凍機、チラーユニット、及びそのコントローラの制御ソフトウェアについて、ソフトウェアアーキテクチャを定 義して統一化を推進する。 • Establish the maintenance and operation rules for the above architecture. 上記アーキテクチャの保守、運用ルールを決定する。 • Driving MBD initiative and clarify the relationship with new architecture. MBD 化を推進し、上記新アーキテクチャとの関係性を明確にする。 • Driving MBD alignment between related departments. MBD について関係部署と協調して推進する。 • Driving process and design standardization for MBD and new architecture. MBD とアーキテクチャについて開発プロセスの策定と設計基準の制定を推進する。 • Create a roadmap application plan of the new architecture in cooperation with Product management team. プロダクトマネジメント・チームと連携して新アーキテクチャの製品適用計画を策定する。 EXPERIENCE: • Has experience in embedded software and control systems development 組込みソフト、制御システムの開発経験があること。 • Has experience in software architecture design and communalization. ソフトウェアアーキテクチャ設計、共通化の経験があること。 • Experience in model-based development using MATLAB/Simulink. MATLAB/Simulink を用いたモデルベース開発経験があること。 • 5+ years should be in collaborating multicultural and multi-disciplined teams. 多文化・多分野のチームで 5 年以上共同作業を経験していること。 SKILLS: • Have abundant knowledge in the following fields related to software development. ソフトウェア開発に関わる以下の分野について豊富な知識を有していること。 ➢ Model based development モデルベース開発 ➢ Software architecture ソフトウェアアーキテクチャ ➢ Refactoring and platforming, communalization リファクタリング・リファクタリングやプラットフォーム化、共通化 • The following knowledge related to engineering work is a plus 設計業務に関わる以下の知識を有していると尚よい ➢ Knowledgeable of software development lifecycle, project implementation methodologies such as DevOps / Agile etc. ソフトウェア開発ライフサイクル、DevOps/Agile などのプロジェクト実施方法論に関する知識 ➢ Knowledge in thermodynamics, energy and HVAC system. 熱力学、エネルギー、HVAC システムに関する知識。 ➢ has basic commercial/financial understanding. 基本的な商業/財務の知識。 • Ability to carry out tasks 業務遂行能力 ➢ Be able to learn new technologies, techniques, processes, languages, platforms, and systems proactively. 新しい技術、テクニック、プロセス、言語、プラットフォーム、システム等を積極的に習得できる。 ➢ Has strong result-oriented mindset and can carry out tasks with focusing on deliverables any time. 結果志向が強く、常に成果物にフォーカスして業務が遂行できること。 ➢ Be able to analyze facts objectively and derive measures logically. 事実や事象を客観的に分析して、論理的に対応策を導き出すことができること。 ➢ Has abilities to apply principles, theories, and concepts to practical applications. 原理、理論、概念を応用して実務に適用する能力を有していること。 • Presentation and communication skills プレゼンテーションならびにコミュニケーションスキル ➢ has good presentation skills including creating an understandable and structured slide materials. 理解しやすく構造化されたスライド資料の作成など、優れたプレゼンテーションスキルを持っていること。 ➢ has good written and verbal communication skill both in English and Japanese. 英語、日本語を問わず、文書および口頭で円滑にコミュニケーションがとれること。 • Management skills マネージメントのスキル ➢ has good communication skills and be able to establish good relationship with stakeholders. 利害関係者との良好な関係を確立することができること。 ➢ Be able to apply leadership instruments and have experience leading an interdisciplinary and intercultural project team. Or have the intention to be involved in the future. リーダーシップ手段を適用し、学際的かつ異文化間のプロジェクトチームを率いた経験があること、もしくは 今後携わっていきたいという意思があること。 ➢ Can enjoy mentoring, training, and coaching other members of the team 他のメンバーの指導、トレーニング、コーチングを楽しめる方 EDUCATION BACKGROUND: • Master's degree, bachelor's degree or equivalent in the field of electricity, electronics, or information, and at least 10 years of practical experience in embedded software development. 電気、電子、情報分野で修士号、学士号または同等の技術を有し、組込みソフトウェア開発の実務経験が 10 年以上の者。
