Senior Software Architect (AI-Native)

Job Title: Senior Software Architect / Technical Lead (AI-Native) Company: PMAutomations.ai Location: Remote (Preference: Philippines / Open to international regions outside US) Hours: Full-time (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST) Compensation: $25.00 / hour (~$4,000 USD / month) About Us PMAutomations.ai builds custom software and AI automations for property management companies. We are a fast-moving team building a scalable platform to automate complex property management workflows. The Role We are seeking a hands-on Software Architect / Technical Lead who can architect scalable systems, write clean code, lead developers, and help us scale efficiently without overengineering. This is not a purely managerial role. We want a strong engineer who thrives on speed and leverages modern AI development tools (especially Claude and Claude Code) to build rapidly and reliably. What You'll Be Doing Architect & Build: Own system design across multi-tenant property management automations while enabling client-specific customization. Integrations: Design robust integrations with PMS platforms (Rent Manager, AppFolio, Yardi, Buildium) using APIs, webhooks, auth systems, and data syncing strategies. Automation: Design resilient web scraping and browser automation workflows where native APIs are unavailable. Hands-on Execution: Write code, build prototypes, review PRs, and solve complex technical bottlenecks. Team Leadership: Guide and mentor developers, enforce cohesive architecture, and maintain high standards. Product Collaboration: Translate product ideas from an ambitious, non-technical founder into simple, clean technical solutions. Push back when necessary to find the leanest way to build correctly. What We're Looking For Technical Stack: Deep proficiency with TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, React/Next.js, Python, PostgreSQL, and modern cloud infrastructure (testing, monitoring, production debugging). Experience: Proven track record in multi-tenant SaaS architecture, third-party API integrations, and web scraping. Obsessive Detail Orientation: Experience handling sensitive business domains (financials, work orders, tenant data). You naturally account for edge cases, permission models, and failure modes before writing code. AI-Native Workflow: You extensively use Claude, Claude Code, AI agents, and AI IDEs to multiply your speed—paired with the engineering judgment to audit AI outputs for security and clean design. Work Schedule & Budget Hours: Dedicated Full-Time (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST, 40 hours/week). Rate: $25 USD / hour.
