We’re looking for a Senior Developer who combines broad technical knowledge, an investigative mindset, and the ability to turn ideas into working, reliable solutions quickly using modern AI tools.
We want someone who understands how business needs, applications, data, and infrastructure fit together. Someone who asks the right questions, independently explores unfamiliar territory, connects available technologies, and takes ownership of the outcome.
We care more about how you think, investigate, and solve problems than how many programming languages you know. We expect strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to use AI to learn new tools quickly, make sound technical decisions, and deliver solutions that create real value.
What you’ll do:
We want someone who understands how business needs, applications, data, and infrastructure fit together. Someone who asks the right questions, independently explores unfamiliar territory, connects available technologies, and takes ownership of the outcome.
We care more about how you think, investigate, and solve problems than how many programming languages you know. We expect strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to use AI to learn new tools quickly, make sound technical decisions, and deliver solutions that create real value.
What you’ll do:
- Understand the problem before starting implementation. Explore business goals, user needs, and existing workflows, identify missing information, and help shape requirements.
- Own delivery from idea to production. Work across technical design, prototyping, implementation, integrations, databases, and deployment, verifying that the solution works in real-world conditions.
- Use AI to deliver quickly and effectively. Make AI-assisted development and vibe coding part of your everyday workflow for research, experimentation, implementation, and troubleshooting. Take responsibility for understanding, validating, and maintaining the quality of AI-generated code.
- Build solutions using AI agents and RAG. Connect models, tools, data sources, and business systems, design agent workflows, and evaluate the reliability of their outputs.
- Think about the system as a whole. Consider how application decisions affect data, infrastructure, security, performance, and ongoing maintenance.
- Stay current and put new tools to the test. Explore new AI models, development tools, agent frameworks, skills, plugins, and integrations, assessing where they can meaningfully accelerate delivery or improve the product.
- Take initiative and follow through. When you encounter uncertainty or a blocker, investigate, experiment, involve the right people, and propose the next step.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience building production software. A solid understanding of application architecture, APIs, system integrations, testing, security, and maintainability.
- An understanding of infrastructure and system operations. Familiarity with cloud and server environments, containers, networking fundamentals, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and troubleshooting. You can investigate issues across the application, database, and infrastructure layers.
- An understanding of ITSM concepts. Familiarity with incident, problem, change, and configuration management, and how they support reliable IT services and service continuity.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases: Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server. You understand data modeling, SQL, indexing, transactions, data consistency, and query optimization.
- An understanding of AI agent architecture and workflows. Familiarity with tool use, context and memory management, agent coordination, and orchestration tools. You understand how to validate outputs and manage failures.
- Strong knowledge of vector databases and RAG. You understand data preparation and indexing, embeddings, semantic search, relevant context retrieval, and response quality evaluation.
- Hands-on experience with AI development tools. You can define clear tasks, provide the necessary context, guide AI tools, and recognize when their output needs further validation or a different approach.
- Sound judgment about AI’s capabilities and limitations. You can distinguish processes that require deterministic, predictable execution from tasks where AI adds value. You build workflows around clear business rules, validation, and controls, using AI agents where contextual understanding, unstructured data processing, or proposed solutions are needed. You know when an agent’s output should be validated, constrained, or referred to a person for a decision.
- An understanding of production metrics and costs. You can identify and monitor indicators of application health, performance, and efficiency, including response times, error rates, resource consumption, and task success rates. For AI solutions, you understand token usage, model calls, and costs per request, user, or feature, along with the trade-offs between cost, speed, and output quality.
- A thoughtful approach to reliability and error handling. You consider what happens when a service is unavailable, a request takes too long, or an AI model returns an unusable result. You can design error handling, controlled retries, and recovery without data loss or duplication, supported by clear user-facing messages and logs that enable effective diagnosis.
- Curiosity, initiative, and sound judgment. You learn quickly, challenge assumptions constructively, and know when a quick experiment is sufficient and when a more robust solution is needed.
How you approach your work:
When faced with unfamiliar technology or incomplete requirements, you investigate and propose a way forward. You can find relevant documentation, run a small experiment, test an assumption, and apply what you learn.
You keep up with the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem and turn new knowledge into practical results. When choosing technology, you consider its usefulness, reliability, and the complexity it introduces.
You measure success by how quickly you can deliver a working solution that solves the right problem and can be operated and maintained reliably.
What we offer:
We’d love to hear about a solution you took from an unclear idea to production, a time your investigation changed the original approach, and a concrete example of how AI tools accelerate your work today.
Thank you for your interest in this position. Please note that only candidates whose qualifications closely match our requirements will be contacted.
