Are you excited about building something customers love, shipping fast, together as a team?
We're reshaping how Product and Tech work at PriceShape, and you'll help build it. You'll join a small product team that owns its part of the product end to end. You'll ship to production every day, in small steps, behind feature toggles. You'll build with agents from your first week. And underneath it all is a genuinely hard problem. We collect and match pricing data from across the web, and it has to be complete, correct and fresh enough for our customers to act on it.
While agents write most of the code, we rely on senior human judgment and evaluation. If you want to be part of improving our product and our speed of learning, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
You'll be a developer in one of our product teams, working in a small team with one or two other developers, a product manager, a designer and a tech lead.
Your team owns its part of the product, all the way from the customer problem to the service running in production. You'll build it, ship it and run it, together with the rest of the team. Developers here are part of finding the solution, not a step after it has been decided.
Not all of this is in place yet. Some of it you'll find working well, and some of it you'll help us build. Some people here have done a lot of this before, but we're all still learning better ways.
You can work on-site in our Aarhus HQ or remotely from the EU or the UK. English is our working language, and the team is international.
Shaping solutions with your team
You'll hear customer problems first hand, often enough to make good product and technical calls without asking.
You'll bring technical options, costs and what has recently become possible into the conversation early. We explore more than one solution for every problem.
You'll cut the work so the riskiest assumption reaches production first. Nothing we plan should take more than a week to reach production.
Building and shipping
You'll ship small changes to production continuously. We work trunk based with feature toggles, and roll changes out gradually so they can be turned off without a new deploy.
You'll write the tests as part of the change. There is no test phase and no one else whose job is to find your bugs.
You'll watch how each change behaves in production and improve it in the next deploy when the evidence says so.
You'll change infrastructure through code, the same way you change everything else.
Building with agents
Claude Code is rolled out across the engineering team, and agents are a normal part of how we build.
Most of the detailed decisions in a working day are yours. You make them in a tight loop with an agent, guided by your team's documented product principles, design system and technical decisions. When something falls outside them, you pull in the right person.
You'll keep the context in your repositories current, so the next developer or agent starts from how the code actually works.
You're responsible for what an agent produces in the same way as for code you wrote by hand.
Running what you build
Your team runs its part of the product in production, including availability, scalability, security and bugs. You'll be part of that, including when something breaks.
You'll make sure problems show up in monitoring before customers notice them.
You'll keep dependencies current and fix small issues as they appear, a day at a time, rather than saving them up for a big project.
Working toward outcomes
Your team works toward outcomes, and you'll know which outcome your work serves and whether it moved.
Work is done when the outcome moved or when we decided to stop. When we stop, we stop cleanly, with nothing half built left behind.
What We're Looking For
7+ years building and running production software. You've built it, shipped it in small steps and run it, including when it broke. This matters most.
Solid experience with TypeScript, Node, and cloud infrastructure.
You've worked as a peer in a cross-functional team, shaping solutions with product and design.
You build with agents as a normal part of your work, and you improve the context they work from.
You enjoy working in English in an international team.
