Senior Software Developer

Job Description This is a remote position. Sr. Software Developer is needed to perform the following duties: ● Designing and implementing frameworks and re-usable software components using JavaScript. ● Owning projects from start to finish, collaborating with others on the team and pushing code daily. ● Successfully carry out assignments that are technically very large or complex or have extensive or complex business implications. ● Developing standards and conventions, mentoring other developers. ● Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency). ● Finding and fixing inefficiencies in code or process and working to make the team better every day. ● Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality. ● Manage source control for certain repositories. ● Coding, Unit Testing & Deployment. ● Developing reusable components and services ● Solid understanding of both Web Technologies and Desktop applications ● Good Architecture skills and well aware of best design practices and software architectures ● Providing technical solutions for business problems ● Building Use-Case Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, High Level Documents, System Architecture Diagrams. ● Agile Implementation, Sprint Planning. ● Critical Technical Production Issues Resolution: Strong Debugging Techniques, Collaboration with various technical teams, Strong Understanding of business flows and integrated upstream & downstream applications. ● Perform debugging and Analytical skills to identify and resolve the problem. ● Collaborate with support, business, and various technical teams ● Strong knowledge in Application and its connected applications ● Debug tools and strategies ● Capable of providing alternate solutions to avoid business process interruptions without compromising compliance. ● Perform test Driven Development with Good Code Coverage with unit tests. ● Project Governance: Code Reviews, Code Quality Analytics, Documentation, Unit Test Coverage Inspections, Software Factory Management, Code Check-ins, Change Management & Deployments. ● Quality Deliverables. ● Help in the Deployment Process. ● Collaborate with UX researchers, product managers and engineers to help build new features and solve creative problems, in a fast-paced environment. ● Collaborating with others on the team while using Git. ● Contributing during standup meetings with care and thoughtfulness. ● Help other contributors to feel comfortable speaking their mind and take feedback to help the totality of the group. Requirements Bachelor's Degree is required in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Computer Information Systems .
