Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our ever evolving Global Application Development team and help shape the future of global commerce.
- Full-Stack Application Development: Code, design, test, and implement basic to moderately complex software applications across multiple platform architecture
- Technical Specification & Design: Deliver routine to moderately complex program specifications and flowcharting logic to align front-end components and backend database layers.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Analyze and modify code to execute thorough unit testing configurations, validating changes and applying corrective measures for code deficiencies.
- Standards, Security & PCI Compliance: Support leadership in enforcing infrastructure standards, data monitoring controls, and mandatory Payment Card Industry (PCI) security compliance.
- Collaborative Solutioning: Participate directly in client-facing technical meetings, joint venture discussions, and vendor partnership teams to establish system architecture approaches.
- Project Estimation & Engineering Mentorship: Compute reliable billable hour allocations and core resource requirements for project pipelines while assisting with on-the-job training for peers.
- Educational Foundation: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/Management Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
- Core Professional Experience: Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in full-lifecycle software coding, systems designing, multi-platform development, and data analysis.
- Polyglot Engineering Skills: Advanced mastery of at least one front-end or back-end environment, with functional knowledge across diverse enterprise languages (e.g., Java, Python, .NET, COBOL).
- API & Distributed Systems Literacy: Hands-on experience working with various external web services, enterprise API integrations, relational schemas, and NoSQL databases.
- Autonomous Problem Solving: Journey-level professional capability to resolve wide-ranging scope issues creatively, requiring little instruction on day-to-day work.
- Analytical Judgment: Strong evaluation skills to dissect problems of diverse scope, select optimal methodologies, and network with senior internal and external personnel.
- Extended Professional Tenure: 6+ years of professional engineering experience navigating full lifecycle system coding, development pipelines, and data analysis.
- Specialized Enterprise Infrastructure: Direct production ecosystem experience utilizing specialized platforms like IBM Rational Tools.
