As a primarily back-end Senior Software Development Engineer, you’ll contribute to the development of applications designed to reduce physician burnout, increase patient engagement and improve the quality of clinical documentation and patient care!

The Role

As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will:

• Contribute to the backend development of applications focused on improving clinical documentation and patient engagement.
• Take ownership of solutions designed to improve patient care and reduce physician burnout.
• Solve complex technical problems using modern technologies to deliver impactful outcomes.
• Collaborate with customers, User Experience teams and other product groups.
• Contribute to and influence the team's software development processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and contribute code to a diverse, hybrid backend product codebase.
• Conduct code reviews and support high-quality software engineering practices.
• Participate in sprint planning and task breakdown.
• Create technical design documents and peer-review design documentation.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• A Computer Science Degree, alongside 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Experience working with one or more modern programming languages and technologies, including:
• C#
• JavaScript frameworks, such as React or Angular
• Node.js
• Go
• Python
• Working knowledge of cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Working knowledge of container-based technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.

Location & Working Arrangements

• Location: Remote, based in Ireland.
