MISSION : Responsible for the analysis and the development of solutions in full autonomy, the Senior Software Engineer designs, builds, deploys and maintains tailor-made and/or software packages applications or adapts existing ones. Ensuring applications stability, scalability, performance, security and consistency, he/she verifies the functional and/or technical quality of developments by implementing and/or executing tests on a wide variety of devices and setups. He/she works with internal or external business partners to create or redefine functional and/or technical specifications. He/she also acts as a tutor to Software Engineers.

Skills and qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related degree program
• Practical experience in the IT (Data) sector
• Experience in financial processes from data perspective (Invoicing)
• Good knowledge of programming languages such as:
  • Java & SQL (must have)
  • Python, C#, AI powered tools and web technologies (nice to have)
• Competence in working with the developer suite “Talend”
• Explaining technical concepts to non-technical team members or clients
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and analyze user needs
• Behavioral competencies like: team collaboration, customer focus, adaptability and achievement orientation.
• Nice to have: German language

Core Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain Talend ETL jobs ensuring the quality of EDI invoicing flow
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the quality of the EDI invoicing flow
• Implement new Talend ETL jobs
• Identify and implement opportunities for improvement and automation of the EDI invoicing flow
• Develop reports and dashboards designed to monitor the performance of the EDI invoicing flow
• Monitor the state of technology, adopt and propose new practices and innovative technologies
• Align and follow ESM IT policies and practices (including obtain necessary approvals)
