Senior Software Engineer – AWS, Python & Agentic AI

Fully Remote – Must be EU Based (Teams based in Romania and Poland)

Up to €60,000 + Benefits

I'm working with an established international software business specialising in fashion and retail technology, looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join their growing Cloud & Integrations team.

Having spent the last three years developing a new AWS-based cloud platform, they're looking for a strong backend engineer to take ownership of development, drive technical decisions and help shape the platform's future.

There's also an exciting opportunity to work with Agentic AI, including AI agents, intelligent workflows and automation using technologies such as Claude and Cursor.

What you'll be doing:

• Taking ownership of backend development across cloud platforms and SaaS products.
• Building and maintaining serverless applications using AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SQS/SNS).
• Developing REST APIs, microservices and third-party integrations.
• Working on a cloud-based asset management platform for storing and managing customer designs and product information.
• Helping introduce Agentic AI capabilities, AI agents and intelligent automated workflows.
• Improving platform performance, scalability, security and reliability.
• Working closely with the Engineering Manager and frontend developer in a small, collaborative team.

What will make you stand out:

• Strong commercial software engineering experience at Senior level.
• Excellent Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript skills.
• Strong AWS and serverless architecture experience.
• Experience with APIs, microservices and integrations.
• Someone comfortable taking ownership and making technical decisions.
• An interest in LLMs, AI agents and Agentic AI.
