How we build Our engineering team is AI-native. Every day we use AI coding tools to design, write, test and ship software. We need engineers who are fluent in vibe coding. That means you can direct AI agents to move fast, and you have the engineering judgment to review, harden and own what goes to production.

About you: We're looking for senior engineers who want a real challenge and a chance to shape what comes next. You'll join ExpensePoint at a turning point: we're rebuilding our platform, modernizing our stack and going after a much larger market. On a small, high-impact team, you'll solve hard problems, own major features end to end and see your work in production from day one. What you'll do

• Architect and build: design scalable microservices, RESTful APIs and rich web and mobile clients.
• Build AI-first: use AI coding agents every day, and help set the team's standards for building with them.
• Own and deliver: take features from concept through production and monitoring.
• Champion quality: set best practices for CI/CD, test coverage, documentation and observability, which matter even more when much of the code is AI-assisted.
• Ship AI in the product: apply the latest AI and ML techniques to real customer problems, from automated expense review to smarter spend controls.
• Mentor: guide mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews, pairing and tech talks.

Must-have

• 5+ years as a professional software engineer.
• Fluent in vibe coding: you use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or Copilot every day to ship production software, and you know how to check what they produce.
• Proficient in one or more compiled languages (C/C++, C#, Java, Go, Kotlin, Swift, Rust) or interpreted languages (JavaScript, Python, Ruby).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Travis CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong RDBMS skills and RESTful API design.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science (or equivalent).

Nice-to-have

• Front-end: React, React Native, Next.js, Vue, Angular.
• Back-end: Node.js, Spring, .NET, Rails, messaging systems (Kafka, Kinesis).
• NoSQL experience (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Experience building or scaling large applications.
• Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
