DESCRIPTION We are looking for a strong Software Engineer to join our product engineering team in Stockholm (remote within Sweden possible). This role is a 50/50 split between backend and frontend development, with a strong focus on Java backend services and modern React-based web applications. You will work in a small cross-functional team owning the full product lifecycle — from design and implementation to deployment and monitoring. We believe in “you build it, you run it.” Tech Stack: Java, NodeJS, React, Typescript Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Java Build modern, scalable frontend applications using React and TypeScript Contribute to architectural decisions across backend and frontend Improve performance, scalability, and reliability of core systems Collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineering teams Participate in DevOps practices (CI/CD, monitoring, cloud deployments) REQUIREMENTS Strong experience building backend systems in Java Experience building REST APIs and distributed systems Solid experience with React and TypeScript Good understanding of frontend architecture and modern web standards Experience working in cloud-native environments (AWS, Kubernetes is a plus) Experience making high-impact architectural decisions Fluent in English Salary: The monthly salary for this position is between 53,000 SEK - 67,000 SEK.
