Senior Software Engineer – Tieto Banktech (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong hands-on expertise and a passion for building high-quality systems. In this role, you will take technical ownership of our Equity post-trade platform , driving architecture, modernization, and delivering robust solutions in a complex domain. What You’ll Do Take end-to-end ownership of features from design to production Design, build, and implement solutions using C#, .NET, REST APIs, and microservices Drive modernization of legacy, database-heavy systems into modular, maintainable architectures Contribute directly to architecture and design decisions with a strong engineering mindset Define and execute technical solutions aligned with product and business needs Write clean, efficient, and production-grade code with focus on performance and scalability Take ownership of problem-solving in a complex, high-impact domain Work effectively in a distributed setup across locations What We’re Looking For Strong experience with C#, .NET, SQL, APIs, and microservices architecture Proven track record in modernizing legacy systems and refactoring monolithic applications Solid understanding of system design and building scalable, resilient solutions Hands-on engineer with a strong sense of ownership and accountability Ability to work independently and drive technical solutions forward Experience with Azure, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices Nice to Have Experience in Capital Markets or Equity post-trade systems Understanding of equity trading workflows Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures Background in product-driven engineering environments We Offer Real ownership and impact on critical banking systems Opportunity to shape architecture and technical direction Focus on engineering excellence and high-quality delivery Flexible hybrid work model in Sweden Continuous learning and growth opportunities Interested?
