Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems: Create and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient backend systems capable of handling significant traffic and data. Optimize system performance: Monitor and enhance the backend system's performance to ensure peak efficiency. Implement security and data protection: Employ various security measures to safeguard the system from external threats and ensure data security. Develop and maintain APIs: Design, develop, and maintain the APIs used by frontend applications to interact with backend systems. Support products and services in production when released. Manage and maintain databases: Design and oversee databases responsible for storing application data, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and security. Troubleshoot and debug issues: Identify and resolve backend system issues promptly and efficiently. Qualifications: Experience with Nest.js, PostgreSQL, Heroku, Docker, and Typescript. Proficiency in Functional programming. 3+ years of software development experience, either full-time or part-time, at an IT/Fintech company or as a back-end engineer on personal projects.
