Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) Restream is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to build products used by 11M+ people globally. They are now looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join the team and help solve complex product challenges, build new user-facing experiences, and strengthen the platform as it continues to scale. What you'll work on You’ll be part of a small, highly collaborative engineering team where individual contributors have meaningful ownership over both technical decisions and the final product experience. You will: Build and evolve user-facing features across Restream’s web products Design and implement frontend architecture, UI components, and business logic for new and existing functionality Work closely with Product and Design to turn complex workflows into simple, intuitive experiences Take ownership of features from technical design through implementation and release Contribute to code reviews and engineering standards across the team Improve the reliability, maintainability, and performance of the frontend as the product scales Explore new technologies and identify opportunities to improve the product and engineering environment What we're looking for This role would be a strong fit for an engineer who combines deep frontend expertise with a product mindset and enjoys working with a high degree of ownership. You likely have: Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript Deep production experience with React and modern frontend architecture Experience working with frontend state management systems Strong understanding of modern ECMAScript and browser technologies Experience with CSS preprocessors such as LESS or SASS Enough backend knowledge to comfortably work with Node.js, REST APIs, and relational or NoSQL databases Experience working in modern engineering environments using technologies such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and continuous deployment Strong attention to product quality, UX, and implementation details The ability to work independently, make sound technical decisions, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teammates Experience with additional programming languages or broader full-stack development is a plus.
