WE ARE HIRING : Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer Location: Sri Lanka Employment Type: six-month Contract Company Industry: IT Industry Role Overview We are seeking talented and driven Software Engineers / Senior Software Engineers to design and build scalable enterprise solutions in a fast-paced IT environment. This role involves working on high-performance systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing across the full software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable enterprise-level applications Build distributed and high-availability systems Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices Follow CI/CD practices and DevOps principles Ensure high-quality code through best engineering practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues Participate in deployment and post-production support Contribute to performance optimization and system improvements Candidate Profile Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field Minimum 2+ years of experience for Software Engineers Minimum 4+ years of experience for Senior Software Engineers Experience in enterprise application development Skills & Competencies Strong experience with Node.js / Python / Java (TypeScript is an advantage) Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems Experience with React / Redux or similar frontend frameworks Strong understanding of databases and SQL optimization Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication and teamwork abilities Ready to take your career to new heights?
